welcome to UNSUNG HEROES, a blog dedicated to shining light on beacons of the fan community.
 

✮ what do you do here? — the host, quillifer, interviews people who may or may not have been interviewed before! writers, artists, event moderators; anybody who’s doing stuff to uplift the community with their own two hands is welcome. ✨

✮ how will interviews be conducted? — that is up to the guests. there will be options for auditory/verbal interviews and text-based interviews depending on preference. in either case, a text-based version of the interview will be available for accessibility.

✮ what kind of questions will you be asking? — interviews will be individualized according to guest specialties, but you can expect a handful of common questions, including how each guest got into their branch of fanwork and their reasons for staying involved in the community.

✮ how long do interviews take? — verbal interviews will be scheduled for 30 minutes to 1 hour, but might not take the whole time. text-based interviews can be conducted asynchronously and will conclude after all questions have been asked & answered.

✮ who can apply? — anybody who falls under the umbrella of fanwork and organization, no matter how big or small their audience is. fanfiction authors, fanartists, podficcers, beta readers, etc.
 

✅ what’s allowed?

– users who create “problematic / dead dove” content

– discussions of explicit/NSFW topics
 

❌ what isn’t allowed?

– AI/any form of generative content

– predatory business pitches

– moralizing fiction / “anti” rhetoric

– ship and/or dynamic bashing
